Supply Chain Planning as a Service · SC-PaaS

Your planning team, without the headcount

Most SMBs and many mid-market companies don't have a dedicated demand or supply planner — so critical inventory decisions happen in Excel, and the business pays for it through stockouts, bloated working capital, and missed OTD. Plantryx delivers AI-native planning software plus expert supply chain planners — live in weeks, not months.

Running a complex supply chain on spreadsheets and gut feel

No dedicated planner. No probabilistic forecasting. Just reactive firefighting — and your margin is absorbing the shock.

Inventory bloat

Over-ordering to buffer against poor forecasts. Cash locked in excess stock that erodes margin and clogs warehouse capacity.

Stockouts & lost revenue

The other side of the same coin. Demand spikes you didn't see coming turn into empty shelves, lost sales, and damaged customer relationships.

No time for planning

Your ops team is running the business, not optimizing it. Planning happens in bursts between crises — never proactively.

Excel is not a planning system

No scenario simulation. No AI forecasting. No ERP-connected replenishment. Just formulas, manual overrides, and version confusion.

Enterprise tools are overkill

Enterprise suites were built for $5B multinationals and year-long deployment projects. Too big for spreadsheets, too small for that — you're underserved by both extremes.

Demand & supply aren't aligned

Sales, ops, and finance all work from different numbers. S&OP is a monthly fire-drill, not a decision engine.

Software + expert planners. One subscription.

SC-PaaS is not a consultancy retainer. It's not generic SaaS. It's Plantryx's AI-native planning platform operated by experienced supply chain planners on your behalf — enterprise-grade results without the enterprise headcount or price tag.

AI-native platform

Best-fit forecasting from a 25+ model library, inventory optimization, supply recommendations, and Control Tower visibility — all in one purpose-built system. No middleware, no black boxes.

Dedicated planning experts

Two experienced planners run your demand & supply cycles, analyze inventory health, and present weekly recommendations. You stay in control; we do the work.

Live in weeks, not months

ERP-connected and fully operational without a lengthy implementation project. You see your first planning cycle output within the first month.

Impact you can see early

The first planning cycle produces your forecast, supply plan, and inventory health picture — so the value conversation starts from your own data, not a promise.

From onboarding to outcomes in four steps

No complex implementation. No change management project. We plug in, run the first cycle, and you start seeing results.

Who SC-PaaS is designed for

If your business manages meaningful inventory across multiple SKUs, suppliers, or locations — and you don't have a dedicated planning function — this is built for you.

Manufacturers

Managing raw material procurement, production planning, and finished goods distribution without a full S&OP function.

Consumer goods & retail

Running seasonal assortments, promotional calendars, and multi-channel distribution with Excel as your primary planning tool.

Distributors & 3PLs

Optimizing multi-location inventory, replenishment cycles, and order fill rates across a complex supplier and customer network.

Industrial products

Balancing long supplier lead times, MOQ constraints, and unpredictable B2B demand without the data infrastructure to do it well.

Import-heavy businesses

Managing international supplier lead times, freight consolidation, and inventory positioning across multiple geographies.

Straight answers

No fluff. If you have a question that isn't here, ask it on the assessment call.

Do we need to replace our ERP to use Plantryx?

No. Plantryx connects to your existing ERP as a decision layer on top of it. It doesn't replace what you're running — it reads your data, applies AI planning intelligence, and delivers recommendations to your team. Your ERP remains your system of record.

What does “planning as a service” actually mean in practice?

Two experienced Plantryx supply chain planners are assigned to your account. They run your weekly demand and supply planning cycles inside the platform, identify inventory risks and anomalies, prepare recommendations, and present findings to your team. You retain full decision-making authority — we provide the analysis, the platform intelligence, and the recommendations. You act on what makes business sense.

How long does onboarding take?

Weeks, not months. That includes ERP connection, historical data ingestion, initial model training, and your first planning cycle output. There's no lengthy implementation project.

We only have 500 SKUs. Is that enough complexity to justify this?

Absolutely. The ROI of better planning has nothing to do with SKU count — it has to do with inventory value and service-level risk. We've delivered meaningful results for clients managing 300 SKUs where each SKU represents significant working capital. The question isn't complexity; it's whether your current process is optimizing for the right outcomes.

What ERPs and data sources do you integrate with?

Plantryx integrates with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, and most major ERP systems. We also connect to e-commerce platforms and WMS systems, and can ingest CSV/flat-file data for businesses with custom or legacy systems. Our team handles the technical setup — you don't need to build anything.

Is there a long-term contract required?

No annual upfront payment is required. We bill monthly. We're confident in our results, and we'd rather earn your business each month than lock you into a contract that limits your flexibility.
